Dear Colleagues and Friends
It is my great pleasure to invite you to attend the XVth Anniversary Symposium organized by the International Association of Physicians in Audiology in Krakow. The venue of the Symposium is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Europe, often described as Poland’s cultural and intellectual capital. Krakow is also a place where IAPA was established in 1980. The scientific session will provide you with an update on diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of hearing and balance disorders. The social program of the Symposium will stress Krakow as a magnificant monument of Polish and European culture and a charming city. We are looking forward to seeing the colleagues from Europe and all over the world in Krakow in 2010.
Professor Mariola Sliwinska-Kowalska
PRESIDENT OF THE SYMPOSIUM
Welcome Message of the President of IAPA
On behalf of the International Association of Physicians in Audiology, it is my honour and pleasure to invite you to attend the XVth Anniversary Symposium in Audiology in Poland.
This Symposium in Krakow promises not only a superb and varied academic programme across the field of auditory and vestibular medicine, but also the warmth, hospitality and superb organization characteristic of our Polish colleagues. As our Association develops and strengthens, I encourage all clinicians interested in this field to participate in what will be both an intellectually challenging and memorable meeting.
Professor Linda M. Luxon
PRESIDENT OF IAPA
